On this half day workshop you will learn to a variety of handbuilding techniques and have the opportunity to have a lesson on the Potters wheel. And all the materials, coffee and cake are included! No previous clay experience necessary!
The workshops are run in my home in Whitstable. My address is 75 Island Wall, Whitstable, CT5 1EL.
You will be asked to use hand sanitster upon arrival and to wash your hands regularly throughout the event. You may be required to wear a face covering so please bring one with you on the day as well as adhere to social distancing guidelines where necessary.
You will be provided with all the materials and tools needed including an apron, but please wear practical shoes and clothes in case things get messy!
The workshop will be begin at 1.30pm on Saturday 21st November 2020. Please allow extra time to arrive and park if necessary, it can be tricky to find a space. Island Wall and the surrounding streets are permit parking only. Nelson Road has free parking and there are two paid car parks nearby, Keams Yard and Middle Wall.
The workshop will end at 4.30pm, by then you'll have created your own handmade ceramics which will be fired, glazed, fired again and then returned to you within 3 weeks.
